Overview

Appointment of a suitable service provider for the supply, delivery, fitment and wheel alignment of tyres on Lephalale’s water tanker trucks. Bidders should be tyre suppliers or tyre-fitment/service providers with capacity to supply new 315/80R22.5 heavy‑duty tyres, fit them on six trucks, perform wheel balancing and alignment, and meet SA standards and municipal delivery requirements.

Requirements

• Minimum two years’ relevant experience in supplying and fitting heavy‑duty tyres; access to or ownership of a suitable fitment facility with wheel balancing and alignment equipment.
• Tyres must meet 315/80R22.5, 157/154K, 20 PR, tubeless, with specified tread options and SABS/SANS compliance; new and unused with warranty.
• Compliance: GCC, Preferential Procurement Regulations 2022; submit as per MBD forms; proof of CSD and Tax Compliance (PIN/TCS) where applicable; proof of municipal rates not older than 3 months; JV documentation if applicable.
• Documentation: company profile, references, manufacturer/distributor documentation, and relevant certification; Annexure G pricing per tender; pricing to be firm; delivery costs included.
• Health and safety measures and adherence to manufacturer torque specs for wheel nuts; processing to keep trucks operational.
