Overview

RFQ for Provision of Climate Risk Training to Support organizational capability development priorities. Land Bank seeks a service provider to design, deliver and assess a Climate Risk training intervention (in-person plus post-training virtual follow-ups) to strengthen employee capability in climate scenario analysis, risk taxonomy, credit risk integration, and risk frameworks. Suitable bidders should have at least five years’ experience in learning and development or climate risk training (with some preference for banking/agribusiness exposure) and be able to deliver to a minimum of 10 participants. The engagement includes development of materials, in-person training at Land Bank Head Office (Woodmead, Johannesburg), and two follow-up virtual sessions.

Requirements

• Minimum five (5) years’ experience in climate risk training and/or learning and development; relevant industry experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to design, deliver and facilitate in-person sessions and provide post-training support.
• Facilitators with relevant qualifications and at least five (5) years’ facilitation experience; attach detailed CVs.
• Deliverables include development/design of materials, assessments, attendance registers, completion reports, learner feedback, and post-training recommendations.
• Target audience: intermediate/practitioner climate risk capability within Sustainability and Risk Management.
• Minimum of 10 delegates; in-person 1-day session at Land Bank Head Office, with two virtual follow-ups.
• Mandatory compliance: Tax Compliance Status (TCS PIN or SARS certificate), CSD registration; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; confidentiality agreement; all standard supplier disclosures; no conflicts of interest.
• Evaluation: two-stage process (Stage 1 mandatory criteria; Stage 2 pricing and specific goals). Preference points under PPPFA 2022 (80/20 or similar) with BBBEE points.
