Overview

RFQ for the print and installation of exhibition graphics for three Iziko Museums exhibitions (SH House Museums, Amanzi eAfrica, MTN X UJ Exhibition). Open to professional service providers with proven capability in high-precision print production, fabrication and site installation for museums or cultural venues; bids must include a portfolio of at least five relevant projects in the last five years and full administrative compliance across CSD, tax and B-BBEE.

Requirements

• Proven experience producing/installing exhibition graphics for museums/cultural venues; minimum five comparable projects in past five years with non-pixelated photos, project descriptions, dates and client contacts.
• Compliance docs: current CSD report (not older than advert), Tax Status PIN, tax registration number.
• B-BBEE: valid certificate or sworn affidavit; 80/20 (or applicable) scoring as per regulations.
• Substrate capability: print/fabrication across diverse substrates (Dibond/Forex/MDF, wallpaper, fabrics) with high-grade finishes; non-invasive mounting for heritage sites.
• RFQ submissions: completed RFQ, SBD 4 and SBD 6.1, detailed pricing on company letterhead (incl. VAT), portfolio; evidence of past projects; 60-day validity.
• Output/deliverables: samples within 12 hours of artwork receipt; on-site installation and site coordination by bidder’s Project Lead; packaging, delivery, installation and waste removal.
