Overview

Procurement of the supply and delivery of an Actisense NMEA0183 to NMEA 2000 gateway with PC interface and NMEA 2000 connector T-piece hardware for use on a research vessel weather station. The NRF seeks a supplier of marine electronics hardware (NMEA gateway and NMEA 2000 components) for a one-off purchase.

Requirements

• Fully completed Procurement Invitation (SBD 1) including SBD 4 and SBD 6.1, with signed Bid Submission Certificate; proof of authority (e.g., company resolution).
• Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) or SARS Tax Compliance status (PIN/TCS) and separate TCS PIN for joint ventures/sub-contractors.
• Valid BBBEE status certificate or sworn affidavit (for preference points).
• Pricing documents: fully completed SBD 3.1 pricing schedule (or quotation on company letterhead).
• Detailed specifications demonstrating the goods meet the scope (Actisense NMEA0183 ↔ NMEA 2000 gateway with PC interface and Micro T-Piece; NMEA 2000 certification; IP54; -20 to 55°C; 9.5–35 V DC, etc.).
• Compliance with GCC/SCC, 60-day validity, and delivery obligations; firm/estimated quantities and contract ceiling pricing.
