RFQ - Supply and delivery of ola ice creams for four months as detailed in the RFQClosed

Overview

This RFQ seeks the supply and delivery of Ola ice creams for four months to Ushaka Marine World. Bidders must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and EThekwini Supplier Portal, provide tax clearance or SARS PIN and TCC, and offer fixed prices for the four-month period. Delivery is within 48 hours of a Purchase Order. The quotation covers a range of Ola products (e.g., Cornetto, Magnum, Paddle Pop, Joy) in various pack sizes. Requirements

• Register on the Central Supplier Database and EThekwini Supplier Portal.
• Tax compliance: provide Tax Compliance Status PIN/TCS; for foreign bidders, complete Part B:3.
• Fully completed MBD forms: MBD1, MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9; signed on company letterhead.
• Refrigerated delivery vehicle: signed confirmation on company letterhead.
• Pricing documents: include pricing schedules; offer on company letterhead.
• If applicable, provide SARS TCS PIN; if in a consortium/joint venture, each party must submit separate TCS/CSD.
• Stage One admin compliance is mandatory; non-mandatory items include BBBEE (consortium) and MBD7.1 (non-mandatory for bidders).

How to Apply

• Obtain full bid documents from Ushaka Marine World or Durban websites (see dg-383.pdf).
• Complete and submit: MBD1/MBD4/MBD6.1/MBD8/MBD9, pricing schedules, and any required certificates.
• Ensure tax compliance documents are included (TCS PIN or SARS PIN; CSD number if no TCS).
• Prepare bids on official forms; deposit in sealed envelopes endorsed “RFQ: DG 383 …” to the Guest Information Centre, 1 King Shaka Avenue, Ushaka Marine, Durban 4000 (on or before 12 Oct 2026, 11:00). Late bids will not be accepted and unsealed/unnumbered envelopes will be rejected (see dg-383.pdf).
