Overview

RFQ for professional structural engineering consulting services (topographical survey, structural design, and construction drawings) for a 22 m traffic-enforcement gantry at the Julius Nyerere Way / Jason Moyo Avenue intersection, Harare. Bidders should be qualified structural/civil engineering consultancies with ECZ Practising Licence, ZIE Affiliate status, and capacity to deliver survey, design, and fabrication drawings, plus evidence of professional indemnity readiness and relevant local references.

Requirements

• Valid ECZ annual practising licence; registration with ZIE as Affiliate Organization; documentary evidence.
• Team: Team Leader with relevant Civil/Structural degree and ECZ PrEng; two additional engineers with ECZ/Membership; all with ECZ Practising Certificates.
• Experience: at least 10 years in structural engineering design; at least 3 similar projects with trade references (one from City of Harare); demonstrated organizational capacity and software/tools.
• Deliverables: Topographical survey, structural design calculations, general arrangement and fabrication drawings, schedules; stamp/signature by a registered Professional Engineer with ECZ license number.
• Insurance/Pre-qualifications: Professional Indemnity insurance (or ability to obtain); tax clearance; VAT considerations; capacity to operate in Harare CBD; comply with ZIE/ECZ registrations.
• Pricing: all-inclusive bid price; VAT applicable as per tender terms (15.5%).
