Overview

RFQ to conduct an Occupational Health and Safety Baseline Risk Assessment for the RSR. The RSR invites service providers duly registered with SA professional bodies (e.g., SAIOSH, SAIOH, HPCSA, ECSA, or SACPC) to perform a baseline Safety, Health and Environmental risk assessment in line with the Occupational Health and Safety Act and ISO 45001.

Requirements

• Accredited/registered with SA professional bodies and provide current proof of registration (SAIOSH, SAIOH, HPCSA, ECSA, or SACPC). (RFQ document)
• Administrative/compliance documents: National Treasury CSD registration, VAT-inclusive quotation, tax PIN and tax clearance, fully completed SBD forms, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, CIPC registration, copies of owners’ IDs, medical certificate, SASSA registration (where applicable), and NCPPDSA registration. • Mandatory proof of membership/registration with the relevant safety/regulatory bodies (SAIOSH). (RFQ document)
• Compliance with OHS Act, regulations and ISO 45001 for risk assessment scope. (RFQ document)
• Demonstrate capability via: references of previous SHE/OHS risk assessments, CVs showing ≥5 years’ relevant experience for the project lead, and relevant qualifications (postgraduate or degree in OHS/environmental fields). A detailed baseline risk assessment methodology is required. Minimum threshold: 70 points for functionality. (RFQ document)
