Overview

Supply and installation of an 80-seat free-standing grandstand at the soccer field. The University of KwaZulu-Natal invites bids from qualified construction/installation contractors capable of delivering and installing a freestanding grandstand, with BBBEE compliance (Price & BBBEE 80/20), for the Edgewood Campus soccer ground.

Requirements

• BBBEE compliance under the Price & BBBEE 80/20 framework.
• Compulsory briefing session on 03 July 2026 at 12:00 (Edgewood Campus Soccer Ground).
• Bid documents available in English only; request via email 09:00 on 29 June 2026 to 12:00 on 02 July 2026 (Nontuthuzelo Pato, PatoN@ukzn.ac.za) (ADVERT COPY RFQ UKZN 53 26.pdf).
• Bids submitted electronically to Centralprocurement@ukzn.ac.za; subject must include Bid Number and project name.
• No hard copy submissions, facsimile, or late bids accepted.
• Bids must reflect Bid Number, project name, company name, closing date/time, and be submitted in accordance with the bid document.
• The University may not bind itself to the lowest bid and reserves the right to accept the whole or any portion; failure to communicate within 90 working days after closing renders the bid unsuccessful.
