Overview

Appointment of a service provider to provide blood testing and related services for a period of 3 years. Open to medical laboratory service providers capable of performing blood testing and related services within the University of KwaZulu-Natal’s procurement framework, with BBBEE considerations (80/20).

Requirements

• Electronic submission of quotes by 30 October 2026 12:00 to Centralprocurement@ukzn.ac.za.
• Include RFQ number, project name, company name, closing date/time in the submission subject line.
• RFQ documents available on request via email between 12 October 2026 and 19 October 2026 (English only) to KhuzwayoJ@ukzn.ac.za.
• No hard copies, facsimile, or late quotes; quotes must follow RFQ instructions.
• BBBEE compliance required; price/BBBEE weighting 80/20.
• University reserves right to not bind to the lowest quote; if no communication within 60 working days after closing, submission deemed unsuccessful.
