Overview

Panel of funeral service providers for the UKZN body donor programme at the School of Medicine, College of Health Sciences. Bidders should be qualified funeral service providers capable of supporting UKZN’s body donor programme under CHS, with awareness of the BBBEE framework.

Requirements

• Be a funeral service provider able to service UKZN’s body donor programme at the School of Medicine CHS.
• Comply with UKZN procurement policy on BBBEE; bid scoring is 80/20 (price/BBBEE); provide BBBEE status.
• Submit quotes electronically to Centralprocurement@ukzn.ac.za; ensure RFQ number and project name appear in the submission; no hard copies or late quotes.
• Obtain RFQ documents via email only during the availability window (English only) and complete as required by the RFQ; returnables to be as specified in the RFQ document. (see ADVERT RFQ CHS 14/26...pdf)

• Submission: Email quotes to Centralprocurement@ukzn.ac.za with RFQ number and project name in the subject line; closing date 21 August 2026 at 12:00; no facsimiles.
• Required documents: RFQ returnables as specified in the RFQ; documents in English.

• If no communication within 90 working days after closing, consider the submission unsuccessful.
