Overview

The University of KwaZulu-Natal invites a service provider to refurbish the ASRI Propellants Laboratory to transform the space into a Zone 2 electrically safe area. Bidders should have electrical/mechanical refurbishment and laboratory fit-out capabilities, with CIDB grading 1 GB or 1 EB or higher, and operate under the university’s BBBEE policy (80/20).

Requirements

• CIDB Grading 1 GB or 1 EB or higher (either acceptable)
• BBBEE compliant; price & BBBEE weighting: 80/20
• Proven capability to refurbish a laboratory to Zone 2 electrical safety standards
• Mandatory briefing attendance
• RFQ returnables and submissions in accordance with the RFQ document
