Overview

Procurement of cleaning services and relocation of inactive records for MEGA, including cleaning of the offsite storage facility and moving inactive records to a temporary Mbombela storage unit. Bidders should have facilities management/cleaning capabilities and records relocation experience, and must meet key compliance requirements (CSD registration, completing SBD4 and SBD6.1). Quotations are expected to cover all costs and be valid for 30 days.

Requirements

• 80/20 evaluation for bids up to R50 million; estimated contract value up to R1,000,000.
• Full compliance with the scope of work; include all costs; quotations valid for 30 days.
• Correct bidder contact details and address; complete standard bidding documents (SBD4 and SBD6.1).
• Bidder must be registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD); bid not evaluated on functionality.
• Mandatory documents: Quotation (including all costs), Proof of CSD registration/report, fully completed SBD forms.

• Documents to submit: Quotation (detailed/inclusive of costs), Proof of CSD registration, fully completed SBD4 and SBD6.1.
• Pre-qualifications/registrations: CSD registration.
• Briefing session: compulsory, 12 October 2026 at 11:00, Unit 16, Subab Industrial Park, 5 Suikerriet Street, Mbombela (see attached document).
• Notes: Appointed service provider must finalise by 15 October 2026; late or incomplete submissions not considered. Refer to the attached RFQ for all details.
