Overview

RFQ for the supply and delivery of protective clothing to Clanwilliam – Corporate Services (Cederberg Municipality). Open quotations are sought from qualified suppliers of PPE/uniform apparel. Items include jackets, pants, golf shirts, and related gear, with delivery within 7–14 days of PO. Quotations will be evaluated on an 80/20 price/qualifications basis, with compliance to national and local procurement policies. Target bidders: clothing/ PPE manufacturers or distributors with CAPABLE delivery to municipalities, B-BBEE commensurate, and local presence.

Requirements

• Registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD); proof of registration to accompany quotation.
• Tax compliance: valid tax clearance certificate or PIN; VAT registration if applicable.
• Completed or current MBD forms: MBD4, MBD8, MBD9; 80/20 PPB (MBD6.1) with BBBEE and locality claims.
• B-BBEE verification certificate (SANAS) or approved sworn affidavit; proof of empowerment if claiming points.
• POPI consent and GCC acceptance; no service of the state quotations.
• Delivery period explicitly stated (7–14 days from PO); quotes must be valid for 30 days.
• Annexure A (Delivery Period Undertaking) must be completed; photos of quoted items requested.
• Locality points: within Cederberg 10, West Coast 5, Western Cape 2; outside 0.

• Submission method: email or hand delivery to the Supply Chain Management Office; emails to scm@cederberg.gov.za (alternatively noted as scm@cederbergraad.co.za in some lines).
• Documents to submit: signed quotation on business letterhead; complete MBD4, MBD8, MBD9; MBD6.1; CSD proof; tax clearance or PIN; VAT proof (if applicable); B-BBEE verification; POPI consent; GCC acknowledgment; Annexure A delivery undertaking; photos of items.
