Overview

This RFQ seeks a vendor to calibrate three Gas Alert MicroClip XL gas detectors for Cederberg Municipality, Clanwilliam. Bidders should offer SANAS-accredited calibration services with the ability to issue calibration certificates, and must meet municipal pre-qualification requirements (CSD registration, tax clearance, VAT where applicable, and BBBEE considerations) to participate in an 80/20 evaluation process.

Requirements

• Calibration of Gas Alert MicroClip XL detectors; provide variable calibration certificates aligned with SANAS standards.
• Delivery period: within 7 to 14 days after receipt of the purchase order (Annexure A delivery undertaking).
• Price must be firm, VAT-inclusive, and valid for at least 30 days.
• Pre-qualifications: registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD); valid tax clearance or PIN; VAT registration (if applicable); MBD4 (Declaration of Interest), MBD8, MBD9; B-BBEE certificate; POPI consent.
• Locality: proof of locality within Cederberg Municipality to claim Locality points (10 points for within Cederberg, 5 for West Coast, 2 for Western Cape, 0 otherwise).
• Compliance: bidders not in the state service; no collusion; use the 80/20 preference points system (price 80, specific goals 20).
• Documentation: complete and submit required forms (MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9) and supporting documents; provide tax clearance or PIN for verification.
• Delivery address: 2A Voortrekker Street, Clanwilliam; delivery period must be undertaken (Annexure A).
