Overview

Supply and delivery of 1 x Compactor to Graafwater. The RFQ calls for a TKP-90 model compactor with delivery to Graafwater (Cederberg Municipality). Suitable bidders are equipment suppliers capable of supplying the specified unit, with requirements including CSD registration, tax clearance, VAT where applicable, and completion of specified B-BBEE and SCM documents. Quotations are evaluated on an 80/20 preference points system under the Municipal policy framework.

Requirements

• Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) with proof.
• Valid tax clearance certificate or tax compliance PIN; VAT registration if applicable.
• Complete and submit: Declaration of Interest (MBD4), Declaration in terms of MFMA (MBD8), Certificate of Independent Determination (MBD9), and B-BBEE documentation; include the 80/20 Preference Points claim (MBD6.1).
• Provide B-BBEE Verification Certificate (SANAS), sworn affidavit, or CIPC certificate as applicable.
• Provide POPI Act consent and comply with handling of personal data.
• Deliver price inclusive of VAT and indicate a firm delivery period; price validity of 30 days.
• Complete Annexure A – Delivery Period Undertaking; delivery within 7–14 days from PO; delivery address: Van der Stel Street, Municipal Workshop, Graafwater.
• No quotations from persons in the state, no corrections with Tipp-Ex; form must be handwritten in black ink.
• The municipality may require proof of locality and may verify compliance with Locality and BBBEE requirements.

• Submit by email or hand delivery to: Supply Chain Management Office, 01 Plein Street, Clanwilliam or scm@cederberg.gov.za (RFQ document).
• Documents to submit with quotation: MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9, tax clearance or PIN, VAT proof (if applicable), B-BBEE certificate, POPI consent, proof of CSD registration, and Annexure A Delivery Period Undertaking (RFQ document).
• If not attached, obtain documents/specifications from the SCM Unit (The Supply Chain Management Unit; scm@cederberg.gov.za) and refer to Annexure A for delivery requirements. Specifications for the compactor are provided as TKP-90 (RFQ document).
