RFQ09/2026/27 THE SUPPLY, DELIVERY, OFFLOADING AND INSTALLATION OF KICKER POLES, PIGTALS AND STRAINING CLAMPS. Dikgatlong Local Municipality invites quotations to supply, deliver, offload and install 48 kicker poles (7m, 140mm diameter, wooden, greased, sealed ends; Eskom standard), dig 1.5m holes, plant and compact poles, and supply/fit M12x280mm pigtail bolts and strain clamps, plus a crane truck for two days. Bidders should have experience in utility infrastructure hardware installation, crane-enabled civil works, and meet local content goals with HDI/locality considerations.

Requirements

• Valid original Tax Clearance certificate or tax pin.
• No undisputed municipal debts over 90 days (or provide lease/tribal authority documentation if rural).
• Complete and submit MBD Forms 4, 6.1, 8 and 9.
• Registered on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• The bid will be evaluated on an 80/20 price/Specific Goals basis (HDI and Locality).
• Quotes must include the municipality’s address and VAT number; payment is upon project completion; no partial payments.
• Delivery must be by crane truck, with specified delivery window and adherence to the described pole specs and conditions.
