Overview

RFQ120ST2026 FOR THE PROVISION OF ADVANCED COMMUNICATION & SOFT SKILLS FOR ACADEMIC LEADERS TRAINING FOR 20 DELEGATES. The University of Fort Hare seeks a qualified service provider to design and deliver a two-day, in-person Advanced Communication and Soft Skills training course for 20 Academic Leaders, to be delivered at UFH campuses with a customized curriculum aligned to the university context. Bidders should demonstrate relevant leadership development experience in higher education and may provide official SDP accreditation or equivalent facilitator expertise. The contract requires a cost per learner, deliverables, and adherence to UFH SCM policies and BBBEE requirements.

Requirements

• Customised two-day training programme for Academic Leaders, including practical exercises and workplace scenarios.
• Evidence of facilitator credentials: CVs with Master’s-level qualification and 5–8+ years’ facilitation experience in leadership/communication; SDP accreditation is desirable (QCTO SDP).
• Submit a customised course outline, facilitator profiles, and at least three references for similar work in the last five years.
• Deliverables: training programme/agenda, facilitator materials, attendance register, certificates, and final training report.
• Quotation must include detailed cost per learner, travel/accommodation/subsistence, and any other disbursements.
• Compliance docs: Tax clearance, Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration, and UFH supplier database registration.
• Compliance with B-BBEE and related declarations; complete SBD forms as part of the bid (SBDs 4, 6.1, 7.2, 9).
• Adhere to UFH terms, including the right to not award the lowest bid and the need for an official UFH order.
