Overview

RFQ for the supply and delivery of food products to Graafwater. Open quotation inviting food suppliers to quote for a defined groceries list, for delivery to Graafwater Municipal Offices, with delivery within 5 days of a valid purchase order.

Who should consider bidding: food wholesalers/retailers with stock and delivery capacity to Graafwater, VAT-registered, and able to meet CSD, tax, and BBBEE requirements.

Requirements

• Not in the service of the state.
• Complete and submit MBD4, MBD8, MBD9; include a valid tax clearance or PIN; VAT registration if applicable.
• Original B-BBEE Verification Certificate (SANAS) or valid alternative as required.
• Proof of registration on the Central Supplier Database (CSD).
• Complete and submit the Preference Points form (MBD6.1) and claim for BBBEE and locality.
• Provide POPI consent for processing personal information.
• Prices must be firm and inclusive of VAT; valid for 30 days; delivery period clearly stated.
• Quotations must be handwritten in black ink; corrections with Tippex are disqualifying; electronically completed documents are not accepted.
• Delivery period: within 5 days of official PO (Delivery Period Undertaking).
• Items listed in the attached specification must be in stock and delivered to Graafwater as specified.

How to Apply

• Documents/quotes must be delivered or emailed by 12:00, 08 October 2026 (RFQ RFQ15/2026-2027) to the Supply Chain Management Office, Cederberg Municipality, 01 Plein Street, Clanwilliam, or scm@cederberg.gov.za (also scm@cederbergraad.co.za) per attached notice (RFQ15/2026-2027).
• Documents to submit (with attached specification): MBD4, MBD8, MBD9, MBD6.1; valid tax clearance or PIN; VAT proof; CSD registration; B-BBEE certificate; Declaration of Interest; Certificate of Independent Bid Determination (MBD9); POPI consent.
• Specification highlights: Leg of Lamb, Quarter Chicken, Potatoes, Rice, Frozen vegetables, Sugars, Vinaigars, Beetroots, Butternut, Fresh Cream, Ice Cream, Spices, seasonings, and other pantry items; delivery to Graafwater Municipal Offices: 57 Van der Stel Street, Graafwater 8120; stock availability required.
• Note: The supplier must indicate a firm delivery period and may be required to substantiate locality and BBBEE claims.
