RFQ21/2026-2027: SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF IT CONSUMABLES TO CLANWILLIAM

Overview

RFQ21/2026-2027: Supply and delivery of IT consumables to Clanwilliam. The Municipality seeks quotes for IT peripherals and related hardware consumables (e.g., laptop backpacks, wireless mice, network cables, RJ45/connectors, cables and power extension gear). Suitable bidders include suppliers of computer-electronic goods with the ability to supply in the Clanwilliam area and meet municipal procurement requirements.

Requirements

• Open to suppliers not in the service of the state; comply with National/Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration.
• Submit MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9; provide tax clearance or PIN; VAT proof if applicable; B-BBEE certificate.
• Provide POPI consent; commit to GCC/PPF regulations and 80/20 evaluation framework.
• Ensure quotations are valid for 30 days and, if applicable, delivery firm within 7-14 days of PO.
• No corrections with correction fluid; handwritten quotations preferred; electronic submissions accepted per the RFQ.
• Locality and B-BBEE preference points apply (80/20 system; up to 10 points for BBEE, up to 10 for locality).

How to Apply

• Submit by email to scm@cederberg.gov.za or deliver to Supply Chain Management Office, Clanwilliam; reference RFQ21/2026-2027.
• Documents to submit: MBD4, MBD6.1, MBD8, MBD9; valid tax clearance or PIN; VAT proof (if applicable); B-BBEE certificate; POPI consent; CSD registration proof; any other forms required by the municipality.
• Documents/specifications are obtainable from The Supply Chain Management Unit, Cederberg Municipality, 2A Voortrekker Street, Clanwilliam or scm@cederberg.gov.za (RFQ filename above).
• The Council may withdraw, re-advertise, or accept part of bids; highest-scoring bid wins under 80/20 rule; bid validity and local procurement rules apply.
• Delivery period: within 7-14 days of official PO; failure to deliver may result in order cancellation.
