Supply and installation of OptiX RTN 380AXH One Hop Microwave Network. Johannesburg Water invites bids from telecom/network equipment suppliers or integrators with OEM accreditation for OptiX RTN hardware, proven microwave-network installation capability, and compliance with SA procurement rules (CSD registration, tax clearance, BBBEE, and mandatory bid documentation).

Requirements

• Attach BOQ, system specification and datasheet; 2 reference letters and OEM accreditation; not in service of the state; no National Treasury blacklist; quotes on PDF on company letterhead; JV agreements if applicable.
• Mandatory documents: Original Tax Clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, municipal rates statement not older than 90 days, MBD4 (Declaration of Interest), MBD8 (Past SCM practices), MBD9 (Independent Bid Determination), proof of CSD registration, MBD6.1 (Preference points), company registration docs with IDs.
• Compliance: 80/20 or 90/10 preference system applicable; 8 specific goal provisions and related proof; adherence to GCC/PPPFA requirements.
• Technical: System designed for outdoor 10GHz FDD, multi-band support (62.5–2000 MHz), multiple modulation schemes, 3x10GbE+1xGbE, redundancy, wide operating temp (-33°C to +55°C), power <50W, includes mounting poles and 200 m fibre, XPIC/load-sharing and 1+1 protection.
