Overview

Procurement of Ennerdale Sewer Pump Station fence installation (brick wall fence, 330 m2 x 4 m high; close off entrance 2 m x 4 m; close off 2 windows 1.5 m x 1.5 m). By Johannesburg Water (City of Johannesburg). Target bidders: civil/building contractors with CIDB GB1+; experience in brick fencing and site works; able to meet SHE requirements. Requirements

• CIDB registration: GB1 or higher (proof with quotation).
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration / supplier number.
• Original valid Tax Clearance Certificate.
• BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit (complying with BBBEE requirements).
• Municipal rates and taxes not in arrears (>90 days).
• Brand-name requirements where applicable; quotes on company letterhead.
• Required returnable documents: MBD 4, MBD 6.1, MBD 8, MBD 9; proof of CIDB, lease/municipal statement not older than 3 months.
• Safety / SHE documentation and a signed declaration of interest; no bids from in-state personnel.
• All quotes must be in PDF on company letterhead; include a firm-priced Pricing Schedule (MBD 3.1) with taxes included.
• Completion references for similar works; compulsory site briefing attendance.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 3 August 2026 at 12:00 (RFQ closes; 60-day bid validity). Submit via the e-tender portal (https://www.etenders.gov.za/).
• Documents to submit: Original tax clearance; BBBEE certificate/affidavit; municipal rates; MBD forms 4, 6.1, 8, 9; CSD proof; company registration docs; Pricing Schedule (MBD 3.1); JV agreements if applicable.
• Pre-briefing: compulsory briefing session on 30 July 2026, 10:00 at Ennerdale Sewer Pump Station (see RFQ).
