Overview

Procurement of eighteen (18) Gausonic GTF-BL100 Ultrasonic Clamp-On Flowmeters with eighteen (18) Multi-Size Clamp-On Transducer Kits for DN 15-6000 mm pipelines, for Johannesburg Water’s bulk metering infrastructure. Open to suppliers of multi-channel ultrasonic flow meters meeting JW specifications; bids via the e-tender portal.

Requirements

• Mandatory admin/compliance:
  • Fully complete BOQ/specification; attend compulsory site briefing (where applicable); attach datasheets, certifications, accreditation, and functionality evidence.
  • No RFQ from persons in the service of the state; no bidder blacklisted by National Treasury.
  • Quotes on PDF, on company letterhead; JV agreement if applicable.
• Technical/commercial:
  • Multi-channel ultrasonic transit-time operation; number of independent channels; bidirectional flow; continuous volumetric flow; ±1% accuracy; ±0.2% repeatability.
  • Display, power options (230 V AC, 24 V DC, battery), integrated removable microSD data logging, USB data retrieval.
  • RS485 Modbus RTU with complete Modbus register map; at least one 4–20 mA analogue output; OCT/pulse output; data logging, memory, and data export in standard formats.
  • Compatible with clamp-on transducers; specified mounting, enclosure, and installation requirements; OEM documentation; warranty (min 12 months) and local support.
• Documentation and acceptance:
  • OEM technical datasheet, installation manual, dimensional drawings, wiring diagrams, transducer compatibility details, battery specs, and warranty information; complete technical compliance schedule.
