Overview

RFQ for Topographical Survey Services for Infrastructure Security (Boundary Wall Construction) across six sites in the City of Johannesburg. Target bidders are professional land surveyors/geomatics firms with SAGC Act compliance, capable of cadastral data collation, field surveying, digital terrain models (DTMs), mapping, and servitude registration; deliverables include master drawings in DWG/DXF, ASCII DTMs, and related files, plus a 16GB USB of outputs. Requirements

• Qualified personnel: 1 x Professional Land Surveyor (BSc Eng in Survey, 4–5 years) and 1 x Surveyor (National Diploma/BTech, 3–4 years); minimum two relevant completed projects; CVs, certificates, and references.
• Compliance: SAGC Act 2013; comply with PPC/PPPFA requirements; BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; CSD registration; valid tax clearance; no state‑employee affiliation; no tender defaulter/blacklist status.

• Outputs and scope: cadastral data collation, field survey, beacons, DTMs, mapping, drawings, and servitude registration; master DWG/DXF drawing, contouring standards (0.5–1.0 m) with 5 m grid; ASCII DTMs; 50 new survey beacons; 16 GB USB with outputs.
• Scheduling and access: Planning/programming required; MS Project software only; monthly progress meetings; site access approvals; security provisions as per PSIRA(rate).
• Pricing and evaluation: 80/20 (or 90/10 if scope/value dictates); 60‑day quotation validity; prices inclusive of taxes; PS (PPPFA) compliance.
