Overview

Road Improvement Works along Mung’etho Muchero Road – Gitahi Ngano & Wanjura Mugoiri Road, Charagita Ward, Nyandarua County will be procured via an Open Competitive Tender (National) using a standardized tender document; open to qualified bidders, with eligibility reserved for Youth category. The works involve civil road construction and related activities, with Joint Ventures allowed. Bidders must meet local procurement rules and be able to comply with conditions to be eligible for award (e.g., NCA registration before award, tax compliance, and local content requirements). Requirements

• Compliance with Public Procurement and Asset Disposal Act 2015; sign Declaration not to engage in corruption and provide Certificate of Independent Tender Determination; allow audits.
• Eligibility: can form a JV; joint and several liability; nominate a representative; avoid conflicts of interest; not debarred.
• Youth category: reserved eligibility; evidence of youth-owned status may be required.
• Local content and nationality: foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan citizens; NCA registration before contract signature; tax compliance certificate.
• Tender security or tender-securing declaration; formal joint venture documents if applicable.
• Additional qualifications: adherence to anti-collusion rules; ability to provide performance-related proofs as requested in Section III.
