Overview

The Kenya Rural Roads Authority invites tenders for the Routine Maintenance and Spot Improvement of Road E135J1: Bukiri-Ndenga-Nyalenya in Siaya Region (KeRRA/008/39/SYA/2-49-25|26-101). Restricted Tendering is limited to prequalified Siaya Region road-works contractors for FY 2025/27.

Requirements

• Eligibility: registered Road Works Contractors in Siaya Region FY 2025/27; public officers and close relatives not eligible; joint ventures allowed with a representative; no conflicts of interest; debarment rules apply.
• Local/foreign participation: foreign tenderers must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan suppliers; NCA registration required before contract signature; tax clearance certificate required.
• Tender security: KSh 400,000 (formally stated in the tender documents).
• Documentation: Form of Tender; Joint Venture agreement (or letter of intent if a JV); qualifications documents; technical proposal; certificate of independent tender determination; other documents as per the Tender Data Sheet.
• Currency and pricing: all prices in Kenya Shillings; BoQ must be fully priced; consider addenda if issued.
• Compliance: environmental and safety considerations; adherence to corruption and fair competition provisions.
