Overview

Routine maintenance and spot improvement works on the Loiyangalani - Gas (A4) Road, funded under the Fuel Maintenance Levy Fund (RMLF). KeNHA invites bids from eligible contractors registered with the NCA in categories NCA 6, 7 or 8, including youth-owned firms via AGPO, for an open tender. Mandatory pre-tender site visit; pricing aligned to KeNHA’s market-rate reference; post-qualification approach.

Requirements

• Certificate of incorporation
• Valid NCA Practising Licence (classes NCA 6/7/8)
• Valid Tax Compliance Certificate
• CR12 form (issued within the last 6 months)
• AGPO registration in category YOUTH
• Serialise all tender pages
• Relevant experience, qualified professional staff, current workload
• Compliance with exclusive citizen contractor preferences and related eligibility rules
• Bidder may submit a maximum of two tenders but can be awarded only one; directors with prior FY 2025–2026 awards or conflicts may be disqualified
• NCA registration required before contract award; foreign bidders must meet 40% Kenyan inputs (local sourcing)

• Submission deadline: 16 July 2026 at 09:00
• Submission method: plain sealed envelope to Office of the Regional Director – Upper Eastern, Isiolo, or the Tender Box at the Isiolo office
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender and schedules including priced BoQ; Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; JV documents if applicable; authorization to sign; qualification information; technical proposal; any other documents per the TDS (Section IV)
