Overview

Routine maintenance and spot improvement works on Ngurunit-JN Civicon Road – Km 110 (B74) Road, funded by the Fuel Maintenance Levy Fund (RMLF). KeNHA invites bids from NCA-registered construction companies (categories NCA 6, 7 or 8) to deliver the works. Mandatory pre-tender site visits will be held in Isiolo; submission is due 16 July 2026 at 09:00. Procurement is open to eligible bidders via the KeNHA website and PPIP.

Requirements

• Mandatory documents to accompany the bid:
• Copy of Certificate of Incorporation; Copy of Valid NCA licence (classes 6–8); Copy of valid Tax Compliance Certificate; Copy of CR12 (issued within last 6 months); Copy of AGPO registration (PWD).
• Additional bid conditions: page serialization of all tender documents; single Technical Representative at the pre-tender site visit (minimum Diploma in Civil/Highway Engineering); site inspection and current workload/experience considerations.
• Eligibility and conduct: no canvassing; no conflicting interests; bidders may bid on up to two tenders but can be awarded only one; foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs locally; NCA registration and tax obligations apply; foreign JV ownership and competition exemptions may be required.

How to Apply

• Obtain tender documents from the KeNHA website or PPIP portal (Long Tender Notice).
• Prepare and submit: Form of Tender, priced Bills of Quantities, Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration, Joint Venture documents if applicable, Qualifications evidence, and a technical proposal.
• Ensure all pages are serialised; submit in a plain sealed envelope clearly marked with tender name/reference to the Office of the Regional Director (Upper Eastern), Isiolo, or deposit in the Tender Box at the same office, by 16 July 2026 09:00 (Routine Maintenance… PDF).
• Site visit: mandatory pre-tender site visit on 30 June 2026 (Ngurunit Centre) at 12:30 pm (Long Tender Notice).
• Clarifications: questions to procurement@kenha.co.ke; responses will be shared with all bidders.
• Currency: bids in Kenya Shillings; tenders may be opened publicly after the deadline.
