Overview

Procurement of Routine Maintenance & Spot Improvement of Ndeffo - Mau Narok (B18) Road funded under the Fuel Maintenance Levy Fund (RMLF). Eligible bidders are construction companies registered with the National Construction Authority in categories NCA 4, 5 or 6, with mandatory pre-tender site visit and open to qualified roadworks specialists.

Requirements

• Mandatory documents with bid: Certificate of incorporation; Valid NCA Annual Practising Licence (classes 4–6); Valid Tax Compliance Certificate; Recent CR 12 (issued within 6 months); AGPO registration in category PWD; pages serialized.
• Other qualifications/compliance: Similar previous roadworks experience; qualified professional/technical personnel; current workload; compliance with eligibility rules (e.g., limits on number of tenders, no ongoing works as of closing date, citizen preference where applicable).
• Regulatory/contract provisions: NCA registration; tax compliance; prohibition on canvassing; JV rules if applicable; foreign involvement and local content expectations; proof of origin for goods and compliance with PPADA/CAK as relevant.
• Additional notes: Source of indices for pricing; site inspection conditions; proof of ownership/control disclosures; all tender documents to be serialized and properly bound.

How to Apply

• Pre-tender site visit: Tuesday 30 June 2026 at Ndeffo along B18 Road, 11:00am (mandatory). (LONG TENDER NOTICE)
• Tender documents: Free to download from KeNHA website or PPIP; hard copies available at KeNHA South Rift Regional Office, Nakuru.
• Submission: Complete tender documents in a plain sealed envelope clearly marked with tender name and reference, submitted to the Office of the Regional Director – South Rift Region, Nakuru, or deposited in the Tender Box (closing date 16 July 2026 at 09:00).
• Documents to submit: Form of Tender; priced Bill of Quantities; Tender Security or Tender-Securing Declaration; Joint Venture documents if applicable; Qualifications and Technical Proposal; confirmation of authorized signatory; evidence of NCA, Tax, AGPO, and incorporation documents.
• Representations at site visit: One technical representative per bidder with a Diploma in Civil/Highway Engineering; bring original and certified copies of IDs, diplomas, professional registrations, and introductory company letter.
