Overview

ROUTINE MAINTENANCE & SPOT IMPROVEMENT OF WAYUBORA – WALDENA (B88) ROAD (All). The KeNHA invites bids from eligible construction companies registered with the National Construction Authority (NCA) in categories NCA 5, 6 or 7 to perform routine maintenance and spot improvements funded through the Fuel Maintenance Levy Fund (RMLF). The scope is defined in the tender documents.

Requirements

• Mandatory submissions with bid: copy of certificate of incorporation; copy of valid NCA Annual Practising Licence (classes NCA 5–7); copy of valid Tax Compliance Certificate; copy of CR 12 (issued within the last 6 months); pages serialised on bid submission.
• Eligibility and compliance: bid limits (max two tenders per bidder, max one award); directors’ and affiliates rules; no canvassing; exclusive citizen contractor preference; pre-qualification and post-qualification process; compliance with anti-corruption provisions.
• Local content and registration: foreign bidders must source at least 40% of inputs from Kenyan citizens; NCA registration required prior to contract signature; tax and debarment checks.
• Additional: site visit (mandatory) and submission in binding form as described in the tender documents.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 16 July 2026 at 09:00; plain sealed envelope or tender box submission to the North Eastern Regional Office, Garissa (or as specified in the tender notice). (Documented in metadata and TENDER DOCUMENT.)
• Submission method: hand delivery or post to the North Eastern Regional Office; ensure proper binding and clear marking of tender name and reference.
• Documents to complete/submit: Tender Forms (ELI-1.1 to ELI-1.4), Form of Tender, Tender Security, and other forms listed in Part 1 and Part 3 of the tender (see TENDER DOCUMENT). Pricing and technical proposals as required.
• Pre-qualification/registrations: NCA registration in the indicated categories; tax clearance; proof of incorporation; CR12; registration and eligibility checks per ITT.
