Overview

Provision to appoint an external assurance provider for other audit related services for a period of 5 years. Rand Water invites IRBA-registered audit firms to supply external assurance/related audit services for a 5-year term. Only one supplier will be awarded. Requirements

• IRBA registration with a confirmation letter from IRBA.
• Fully completed Form of Offer; no corrections; no disallowed substitutions.
• Evidence of experience in external audit for PFMA entities, JSE-listed clients, and sustainability reporting (with client reference letters not older than 4 years).
• Demonstrate adequate human resources: key personnel CVs (Engagement Partner, Senior Manager, Audit Manager, Assistant Manager, Trainees) and an organogram.
• Evidence of insurance (Professional Indemnity, COID, etc.) and 3-year audited financial statements.
• Returnable documents: Compulsory Enterprise Questionnaire, SBD 4, SBD 6.1; B-BBEE or sworn affidavit; completed T2.2 schedules.
• Compliance with AGSA fee guidelines; pricing not to exceed framework.
• Functionality minimum: 70% score to progress to adjudication; criteria detailed in T1.3.
• Preference points: 80/20 system (price vs specific goals) with B-BBEE considerations.

How to Apply

• Submission: sealed bid in the Rand Water Bid Submissions Box at Rand Water Head Office, 522 Impala Road, Glenvista 2058; include the bid number and description on the envelope.

• Clarifications: submit questions by 15 calendar days before closing; Rand Water replies by 10 days before closing.
