Overview

Procurement of Safety Enhancement (footbridges) across River Ngare Naro along Ol’Kalou–Nyahururu (A4) Road in Kenya; reserved for WOMEN bidders. Bidders must be eligible construction companies registered with the National Construction Authority (NCA) in categories NCA 5, 6 or 7, and must hold AGPO status for WOMEN. The work is funded through the Fuel Maintenance Levy Fund (RMLF) and follows post-qualification procurement procedures. Mandatory pre-tender site visits are required (see doc: Long tender notice).

Requirements

• Mandatory documents to accompany the bid:
• Copy of Certificate of Incorporation
• Copy of Valid NCA Annual Practising Licence (classes NCA 5–7)
• Copy of Valid Tax Compliance Certificate
• Copy of recent CR12 form (issued within last 6 months)
• Copy of AGPO registration in the WOMEN category
• Page serialization of all tender pages
• Evidence of similar previous experience, qualified personnel, and current workload
• Compliance with anti-corruption and independent tender determination declarations
• Eligibility restrictions (see tender): bidders may bid on up to two tenders but may be awarded only one; directors with ongoing works or involvement across multiple companies may be disqualified; NCA registration is required before contract signature; foreign participation rules and ownership limits apply
• Post-qualification requirement and market-rate alignment (reference price guide may be used)

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 16 July 2026 at 09:00 (late tenders are not considered).
