Overview

Procurement of sanitary bin supply, servicing and disposal services for City of Cape Town facilities, including hands-free sanitary bin units and medical-waste handling, over a 36-month contract. Requirements

• Compliance with the City’s SCM Policy and submission of all returnable documents (Details of Tenderer, Certificates, Declarations, Independent Bid Determination, etc.).
• Medical waste registration and disposal permits: medical waste transporter registration and a valid disposal permit (or incineration authorisation).
• Waste transportation vehicles: proof of ownership (registered to the tenderer) or valid lease/rental documentation for the required fleet (Schedules 13B/13C).
• Tax compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN; separate PINs for each JV party; evidence to be provided.
• Supplier registration: registration on the City’s Supplier Database and on the National Treasury CSD.
• Health and safety: comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act; provide a Health and Safety Plan if requested.
