Overview

Procurement of scheduled maintenance for low voltage facilities across Joe Gqabi District Health facilities, including LV, nurses call, communications, PV and UPS systems. Eligible bidders are electrical contractors with CIDB rating EB 7 or higher (or a joint venture with a lead partner EB grade 6 and a combined rating meeting the requirement). Tenderers must have an Electrical LV Maintenance Manager and an Electrical LV Maintenance Supervisor with LV experience.

Requirements

• CIDB eligibility: EB Grade 7+ (or JV with lead partner EB Grade 6 and combined rating meeting requirements), CIDB registration prior to evaluation.
• Key personnel: suitably qualified Electrical LV Maintenance Manager and Supervisor, with defined responsibilities (maintenance planning, supervision, emergency response).
• Compliance documents: CIDB certificate, company & tax registrations, COIDA good standing, CSD registration, SARS tax clearance or tax compliance status, company resolutions for signatories, and returnable schedules.
• Mandatory steps: compulsory briefing session attendance; full completion and signing of SBD forms and enterprise questionnaires.
• Resource disclosure: detailed resource allocation plan showing dedicated district capacity if bidding multiple districts.
• Submission: online via the National Treasury eTender Portal; no physical submissions; ensure timely upload.
