Overview

SCMU 30/2026: APPOINTMENT OF A SERVICE PROVIDER FOR SUPPLY AND DELIVERY OF EPWP AND ENGINEERING SERVICES PROTECTIVE CLOTHING. This open tender seeks a supplier to provide PPE protective clothing (e.g., overalls/conti suits, jackets, trousers, EPWP orange shirts, safety boots) branded for Greater Tzaneen Municipality staff, delivered to municipal stores. Bidders should have PPE manufacturing/supply capability with PPE certifications (SANS/SABS) and be able to meet branding, packaging, and delivery requirements, plus relevant qualifications (CSD, tax clearance) and contract terms commonly used in municipal PPE supply.

Requirements

• Proof of PPE standards (SANS/SABS certificates) in bidder’s/manufacturer’s names
• Company work experience; detailed manufacturer catalogue; signed manufacturer delivery letter

• Administrative: CIPC registration, IDs of directors, latest CSD registration, tax clearance, municipal rates/taxes, lease/ PTO where applicable, Joint Venture agreement if any
• Central Supplier Database registration; bids that are late or incomplete are disqualified
• Contract is on a once-off basis; GTM may negotiate further conditions; not obliged to appoint
• Evaluation: Stage 1 functionality (experience 50, catalogue 20, manufacturer letter 30); 70+ points required to progress to 80/20 price and preferences
