Overview

Provision of maintenance services for the Aeronautical Ground Lighting (AGL) systems at Mthatha Airport for a 36-month contract. Bidders with electrical CIDB grade 3EP or higher and relevant AGL experience should bid; must be CSD‑registered and provide SARS Tax Compliance PIN or CSD number, with other standard bidding eligibility.

Requirements

• CIDB: minimum 3EP (Electrical) or higher.
• Demonstrated AGL experience: contracts totalling at least R2 million in last 5 years; include client award letters.
• Key personnel: project lead ≥3 years in AGL; at least 2 skilled electricians; qualifications (AGL 1–3, ECASA); CVs; training commitments (PARTAC/AVOP, MV training).
• Locality/addresses: Eastern Cape office; proof of local presence; CIDB/CSD primary address used.
• Insurance and statutory: liability cover ≥ R1 million; proof of UIF and Workmen’s Compensation; SARS Tax Compliance PIN or CSD; VAT included.
• Documentation: CIDB registration; letters of reference; SBD forms (1, 3.1, 4, 6.1, 7.2, 8); tax/compliance proofs.
• Compliance: OHS Act adherence; security, access, and training requirements.
