Overview

Procurement of secretarial services to support merSETA’s governance and administrative functions, including meeting coordination (Teams) and related tasks. Bidders should have corporate secretarial or professional administrative capability, with capacity to operate under merSETA processes, be registered on the Central Suppliers Database (CSD), and comply with tax clearance and BBBEE requirements.

Requirements

• Bidders must be registered on the National Treasury Central Suppliers Database (CSD).
• Prices must be firm and inclusive of VAT; include all related expenses.
• Responses must remain valid for at least 60 days from the closing date.
• Tax matters must be in order at award (tax clearance/CSD status).
• Complete and submit SBD 4 (Bidder’s Disclosure), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points), and SBD 7.1 (Contract form) along with the Pricing Schedule.
• BBBEE documentation or affidavit must be provided to claim specific goals.
• The successful supplier may be appointed to one or more providers and/or for whole/part of the requirement; contract may reference GCC/SBD terms.
• The offer must be prepared using merSETA’s official quotation forms; responses must be submitted by email.

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 21 September 2026 at 12:00; late submissions are not considered.
• Submit by email to quotations@merseta.org.za, with RFQ number and description in the subject line (RFQ/FIN/26/27/175, SECRETARIAL SERVICES) (RFQ - Secretarial Services.pdf).
• Include: CSD number, BBBEE certificate, tax clearance, Pricing Schedule, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 7.1, and any other mandatory documents.
• Observing: 60-day quotation validity; total price must cover all costs; VAT included where applicable (Pricing Schedule in the RFQ).
• Special note: LCC meeting is scheduled for 21 October 2026 and is to be conducted via Teams (Special Instructions in the RFQ) (RFQ - Secretarial Services.pdf).
