Overview

Procurement of Security, patrol, and access control services for Die Dam and Uilenkraalsmond Resorts (Overberg District Municipality) for 01–31 October 2026. Target bidders are service providers capable of manned guarding, patrols, and access control, with ability to meet municipal contracting and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Bid documents must be completed on official forms (MBDs) and submitted as issued.
• Tax compliance: valid Tax Compliance Status PIN or CSD number; include TCS where applicable.
• BBBEE: SANAS-verified certificate or sworn affidavit; for EMEs/QSEs as required.
• Registration: bidder must be on the Central Supplier Database (CSD) and/or the municipality’s Accredited Supplier Database.
• No bids from persons in the service of the state.
• Bids must include all requested documentation (e.g., prior experience, contracting authority, etc.) and be free of alterations or tippex.
• Payment terms: 30 days from invoice; price must remain as bid.
• Evaluation: 80/20 weighting (price 80; PPPFA/other criteria 20).

• Submission method: sealed bid in the Bid Box at Overberg District Municipality, 26 Long Street, Bredasdorp (hand/courier/post; no email/fax).
