Overview

Service and Maintenance of lifts (Passenger and Goods) for 36 months. Necsa invites bids from lift-maintenance professionals to service and maintain existing passenger and goods lifts at Pelindaba. Compulsory site briefing on 2 July 2026; access arrangements require ID copies by 1 July 2026. Bidders must meet pre-qualification criteria (CIDB, COIDA, tax/CSD) and adhere to Necsa’s SHEQ, confidentiality, and procurement rules.

Requirements

• Valid CIDB grading (as specified in documents) and COIDA certificate.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN or CSD registration.
• BBBEE documentation for specific-goal preference points; may require sworn affidavit or certificate.
• Technical functional criteria (minimum 80/100 to be responsive):
  • Relevant lift-maintenance experience (30 points).
  • List of critical spares and turnaround times (30 points).
  • Traceable reference letters for prior lift services (40 points).
• Access to Necsa site: restricted area access, ID verification, radiological area awareness, and potential security checks.
• Submission requires SHEQ policies; bidders may submit their own policy and project plan.
• Sub-contracting: Necsa may reject subcontractors; include any sub-contracts and Black Empowerment supplier preference.
• Returnable documents checklist to be completed (SBD forms, tax, CIDB, BBBEE, confidentiality, etc.).
• Packaging: two envelopes (technical and pricing); size limit 400mm x 100mm x 150mm; international bidders may email submissions.
