Overview

Procurement of the service and manufacture of hydraulic power packs for Rand Water Zuikerbosch. Suitable for CIDB contractors with a grading of 1 ME or higher; mechanical/hydraulic manufacturing expertise and relevant certifications.

Requirements

• CIDB eligibility: contractor grading 1 ME or higher (or capable of registration prior to evaluation); joint ventures allowed with appropriate lead partner qualifications.
• Pre-qualifications: CIDB registration, Letter of Good Standing (COIDA), tax/compliance verifications; fully completed Form of Offer and Acceptance.
• Returnable documents: Pricing Schedule/BoQ, Enterprise Questionnaire, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, Letters of Bid/Contract, detailed Project Programme, HR Capacity, Equipment Capacity, and references for previous experience.
• Quality and safety: ISO 9001 (or equivalent) for QA; adherence to SHEQ and site safety requirements; environmental considerations; insurance provisions.
• Preference: 80/20 BBBEE points system; provide documentation to claim specific goals.
