Overview

MerSETA seeks to renew a Managed Engine Service Desk Plus license (Service Desk license renewal) via RFQ/ICT/26/27/097, closing 22 July 2026. Bidders should be IT software licensing providers with experience in Service Desk Plus license renewals and license management, capable of delivering renewal support, with compliance to CSD registration, BBBEE documentation, and standard bid procedures.

Requirements

• Registered on the National Treasury Central Suppliers Database (CSD) with a valid supplier number.
• Tax matters in order and reflected on CSD; comply with Treasury regulations.
• Complete and submit SBD forms: SBD 4 (Bidder’s Disclosure), SBD 6.1 (Preference Points), and SBD 7.1 (Contract Form) or 7.2 as applicable.
• Provide a firm price schedule, inclusive of VAT where applicable; prices valid for 60 days from closing.
• Provide BBBEE certificate or affidavit; supply required documentation for specific goals if claiming preference points.
• Adhere to GCC and any special conditions; no goods/services delivered before acceptance of merSETA appointment.

• Returnable documents to include: completed SBDs (4, 6.1, 7.1), Pricing Schedule, CSD number, BBBEE documentation, tax compliance evidence.
• Pricing must be firm, VAT-inclusive, and the total price including delivery; offer valid for 60 days.
• merSETA may appoint more than one supplier or award in part; may require verification (FICA/background checks).
