Overview

Procurement of service and maintenance for meter test equipment at Flow Lab, Ffennell Road Depot. Bidders with experience in maintenance of water meter testing equipment ( Gravimetric and Volumetric test benches), calibration, and related instrumentation should consider bidding. A reference letter for meter testing equipment maintenance (not older than 2 years) is required.

Requirements

• Proven experience in maintenance of water meter testing equipment (Flow Lab test benches, replacement of timer stop button, service reports).
• Provide one reference letter not older than 2 years.
• Complete the BOQ/Specification, attach datasheets, references, proof of certification/accreditation where applicable, and attend compulsory site briefing (where applicable).
• No bids from entities in the service of the state; not blacklisted.
• Quotes must be PDF on company letterhead; JV agreements signed if applicable.
• Pricing must be firm and include all taxes; submit via the Pricing Schedule (MBD 3.1) (see attached RFQ document RFQJW0092SM2026 – Service of meter test equipment at Flow Lab, Ffennell.pdf).
• Administrative documents: valid Tax Clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, municipal rates not in arrears (≤90 days), MBD4/MBD8/MBD9, proof of CSD registration/MAAA Supplier Number, MBD6.1, company registration docs with IDs.
