Overview

Service provide to conduct pressure vessels testing for Amatola Water sites. Amatola Water invites quotations from suitably qualified and experienced service providers for testing and inspection of pressure vessels at named sites (Laing WTW, Masincedane WTW, Wriggleswade Dam) in line with Pressure Equipment Regulations. Bidders should hold relevant accreditation and competencies for pressure vessel inspection, such as SANAS AIA accreditation, SAQCC CP-PV certification, and must be registered for tax and with the Central Supplier Database (CSD). The contract covers on-site testing, documentation, and registers/reports to Amatola Water.

Requirements

• Mandatory registrations and certifications: Tax compliance (SARS PIN), CSD registration, SANAS Accredited Inspection Authority (AIA) status, SAQCC Competent Person – Pressure Vessels (CP-PV) number; SAQCC verification must be available.
• Experience: Provide two successfully completed, similar pressure vessel testing projects for Amatola Water or similar clients in the last 5 years (Forms B.1 and B.2, stamped).
• Returnable documents: Form A (Authority to Sign), Form B (Schedule of previous contracts), Form B.1/ B.2 (references to Amatola Water), SBD 1 (Invitation to bid), SBD 4 (Bidder’s Disclosure), SBD 6.1 (Preference points).
• Technical/commercial: Submit SBD 3.1 Pricing Schedule (Firm Prices) and comply with GCC; ensure VAT handling as per pricing schedule.
• Additional conditions: If applicable, JV/consortium arrangements must meet the stated joint venture requirements and provide necessary documentation.

• Submission method: Online submissions via Amatola Water Website (amatolawater.online) using the RFQ number and description; only online submissions are accepted.
• Documents to submit (as part of the bid): Form A, Form B, Form B.1, Form B.2, SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, Pricing Schedule (SBD 3.1), and Contract Form (SBD 7.1) with firm prices.
• Registrations/pre-qualifications: SARS Tax Compliance Status (PIN) and CSD registration; proof of SA SAQCC/CP-PV and SANAS AIA accreditation; any foreign qualifications require SAQA verification.
