Overview

SERVICE PROVIDE TO PERFORM SERVICE, LOAD TEST AND AD HOC REPAIRS ON LIFTING EQUIPMENT ACROSS AMATOLA WATER AND SECONDARY BUSINESS SITES. Amatola Water invites quotes from suitably qualified service providers to inspect, test load, service and repair overhead cranes, gantries and lifting gear, in line with OSH Act, Driven Machinery Regulation, SANS and LEEASA/LME requirements; reports must show LME/LMI details and certification.

Requirements

• LEEASA registration as Lifting Machinery Entity (LME) and Department of Labour approval; certified copies to be provided.
• Key personnel: Electrician/Millwright with Trade Test, CV; LMI registered with ECSA and 3 years’ experience; Fitter/Millwright with Trade Test and 3 years’ experience.
• Client references: two previously completed similar contracts with Amatola Water (Form B.1/B.2) within the last 5 years.
• Compliance: Bid must include Form A, Form B, Form B.1, Form B.2, SBD1, SBD4, SBD6.1; CSD registration or SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN; joint ventures require separate TCS for each party.
• Health & safety: WCC Good Standing, Fall Protection Plan, LME appointment in writing, electrical COC for major electrical work, PPE, medical fitness for LMI, and Annexure A maintenance schedule.
• Scope: adherence to SOW for inspection, load testing, servicing, breakdown/adi-hoc repairs, reporting with LME/LMI details and safe-load labeling.
• JV/consortium rules apply if applicable, with signed JV agreement and tax clearances.
