Overview

Service, repair and refurbishment of milling plant gearbox input shaft bearing housing for units 1 to 3 at Grootvlei Power Station on an as-and-when-required basis. Eskom (Generation) invites tenders for a NEC3 TSC3-based contract (Service, Repair and Refurbishment) with electronic submission via Eskom E-tendering; closing date shown in the ITT as 23 September 2026 at 10:00. A non-compulsory clarification meeting is scheduled for 10 September 2026 (MS Teams).

Requirements

• ISO 9001: Supplier quality management requirements (Option 1: certified QMS; Option 2: objective evidence of compliance) per Eskom 240-105658000.
• OHS compliance: Eskom OHS Annexures B/C1 (high risk) including COIDA, OHS policy, risk assessment, and costing (Annexures B, C1; 240-77471499/77471651).
• Health, safety, environment and quality assurance controls and planning (Quality Plan/ITP; Contractor QMS, QA deliverables).
• Tender returnables: Form A (Offer & Acceptance), Annexures A–J, SBD 1, SBD 4, SBD 6.1, SBD 6.2, Local/Imported Content declarations; Tax questionnaire.
• Pre-qualification: CIDB/ CSDG requirements noted as applicable or N/A; supplier registration on Eskom e-tendering; no conflicts of interest.
• Other: adherence to ISO 9001-based supplier quality management specification and Eskom procurement policies (240-105658000; 240-68099512).
• Documentation requires QA/QA plans, ITP/QCP, risk management, and evidence of calibrated equipment and workshops (as per documents listed in ITT).
