Overview

The NYDA seeks quotations for Servicing and Installation of Inverter Air-Conditioners across Alfred Nzo District locations, including installation of inverter midwalls (12 000 BTU) and related HVAC works. Scope includes supply/install at Mthatha (Reception/Coordinator’s Office: 2 units), Alfred Nzo (Training Room: 3; Boardroom: 1), extraction fans in toilets (3), plus repair/service of inverter midwalls (12 000 BTU: 7) and PTAC unit (12 000 BTU: 1). HVAC certificates and a six-month warranty are required. Inverters must be used for all air-conditioning installations. Requirements

• Mandatory documents: SBD1, SBD4 (disclosure), pricing schedule, HVAC certificate, six-month warranty. Proof of SARS tax status (CSD or SARS PIN).
• Tax/compliance: SARS PIN/TCS; if no TCS, provide CSD number; no bids from persons in government service.
• Qualifications: HVAC trade certificate; six-month warranty; all units must be inverter-based.
• Preferences: BBBEE documentation to claim specific goals; points allocated for Youth Owned (10), Women Owned (5), Disabilities (5).
• Evaluation: 80/20 or 90/10 preference system per PPPFA; price and specific goals; contract may be awarded in full or part; no payment without a purchase order.

• Briefing/site meeting: Not required (Site Meeting: No).
