Overview

RFQ for the Servicing of Fire Extinguishers at SAFCOL Roburnia Plantation. Open to service providers with fire-safety equipment maintenance capability; required qualifications include a valid SANS 1475 permit, SAQCC registration & servicing technician ID, and B-BBEE verification (SANAS-accredited or EME/QSE sworn affidavit).

Requirements

• Fully complete the RFQ on company letterhead; submit quotations by email.
• Provide B-BBEE verification from SANAS-accredited agency or an EME/QSE sworn affidavit.
• Submit latest Tax Clearance and proof of registration (CSD or MAAA number); include ID copies of company directors.
• Include all SBD forms signed (e.g., SBD 6.2) and Annexure C for Local Content.
• If bidding as a Joint Venture, provide a consolidated BEE certificate.
• Mandatory Phase 2: valid SANS 1475 permit and SAQCC registration with servicing technician ID.
• Returnable documents: completed RFQ, official quotation on letterhead, latest tax clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, CSD/MAAA number, ID copies, Supplier Code of Conduct.
• Price shall be inclusive of VAT; the bid may be accepted in part or in full; the lowest price is not guaranteed acceptance.
• Failure to comply with any of the above may lead to disqualification (Reasons for disqualification in RFQ).

How to Apply

• Submission deadline: 21 August 2026 12:00 PM (RFQ validity 60 days) (RFQ/737/098/2026, RFQ issue 18 Aug 2026).

• Documents to include: fully completed RFQ, official quotation on letterhead, latest Tax Clearance, BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit, CSD/MAAA number, ID copies of directors, Supplier Code of Conduct, fully completed SBD 6.2 and Annexure C.
• Shortlisting/evaluation follows SAFCOL’s 3-phase process: Administrative Compliance, Mandatory Requirements, then Price and Specific Goals (80/20 weighting; 20 points for 51%+ Black-Owned status). Specific goal evidence includes applicable proof (CIPC docs, B-BBEE docs, IDs, etc.) (see attached RFQ for details).
• Special conditions: prices must be firm and VAT-inclusive; no goods/services until a formal purchase order or promissory note is issued.
