SERVICING, REPAIRS AND MAINTENANCE OF FIRE AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT SERVICES VEHICLES

Overview

Servicing, repairs and maintenance of Fire and Disaster Management Services vehicles. Bidders with vehicle-maintenance capabilities and fleet-management experience should bid. Capricorn District Municipality seeks bids to service/maintain its fire and disaster-response vehicle fleet; a compulsory briefing will occur 15 October 2026 in Polokwane; submission closes 10 November 2026 (11:00) via a sealed Bid Box at 41 Biccard Street, Polokwane, with bids valid 90 days. The procurement uses an 80/20 preferential system and requires standard bid forms and regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• Mandatory briefing on 15 October 2026 (10:30) (see Bid Notice).
• Bids deposited in the Bid Box by 11:00 on 10 November 2026; late bids not considered.
• Valid Central Supplier Database (CSD) number; Tax Compliance Status (TCS) PIN; foreign bidders complete pre-award questionnaire; separate TCS/PIN for each JV party; if no TCS, provide CSD number.
• Proof of municipal rates/taxes or lease agreement for company (and directors) not older than three months; JV requires for all parties.
• Complete and sign official bid forms (MBD 1, 4, 5, 6, 7, etc.) and follow PPPFA requirements; example evaluation uses 80/20 with stated preferences; no service of state bidders are eligible.
• CIDB registration in relevant category if applicable; demonstrate capability to execute maintenance contracts; evidence of experience with similar work.

• Briefing/site inspection: 15 October 2026 at 10:30, Function Room, 41 Biccard Street, Polokwane (compulsory) (see Bid Notice).
• Submit documents in a sealed envelope marked with bid number/description to the Bid Box at the address above, not later than 11:00 on 10 November 2026.
• Documents to submit include: official MBD bid forms, JV agreements if any, proof of rates/taxes, CSD/TCS documents, CIDB where relevant, and evidence of similar prior work; questions may be directed to Makgoba Letebele (technical) and Kwena Mashiane / Violet Masemola (supply chain).
