Overview

Procurement of Servicing, Repairs, Supply and Installation of Air Conditioning Units for Vaal Central Water’s Northern Cape sites. Suitable for South African suppliers with CIDB grading 2ME or higher, who are tax compliant and registered (SARS CSD/TCS), and able to meet GCC terms. This is a CIDB-grade construction-type RFQ with a 80/20 preferential procurement framework.

Requirements

• CIDB: active grading 2ME or higher; CIDB status must be active.
• Tax compliance: SARS Tax Compliance Status PIN or CSD number; if needed, separate TCS for joint ventures/consortia.
• Complete and submit: SBD Forms 1, 3.1 (pricing), 4, 6.1; a fully completed specification; one-folder bid.
• Onsite briefing: compulsory (21 October 2026; venue: Vaal Gamagara WTW). Non-attendance disqualifies.
• Price: firm, inclusive of taxes, with a firm delivery period; valid for 60 days.
• Evaluation: 80/20 preference with specific goals; documentation for BBBEE/local area criteria as required. GCC compliance.

How to Apply

• Deadline: 5 November 2026 (verify if 10:00 or 12:00; RFQ doc shows 12:00; metadata shows 10:00).
• Submission: electronic via email to procurement@vcwater.co.za (subject line); hard-copy drop-off at VCW head office address is also noted.
• Documents to submit: SBD1, SBD3.1 (pricing), SBD4, SBD6.1, pricing schedule (detailed line items for multiple locations), CIDB status, SARS TCS/CSD evidence, company ID copies, BBBEE documents, and any other supplier registration documents.
• Briefing: attend the compulsory onsite briefing on 21 October 2026 (time/venue in RFQ); document specifies details in the attached file.
