Overview

Appointment of a service provider for the supply and delivery of data loggers, multiplexers, and soil moisture probes. The NRF SAEON Arid Lands Node seeks bids from suppliers of scientific instrumentation to supply the items listed and deliver to SAEON Arid Lands Node, Kimberley.

Items (per scope): 2x CR1000X dataloggers, 2x AM16/32B-ST multiplexers, 6x CS616 10m reflectometers, 6x CS616 20m reflectometers, delivery to SAEON Arid Lands Node, 97 Memorial Road, South Ridge, Kimberley 8301. Contract is a once-off delivery.

Requirements

• Fully completed procurement documents: SBD 1 (Invitation to Bid) plus SBD 4, SBD 6.1 and Bid Submission Certificate; proof of authority to sign.
• Tax compliance: SARS PIN/TCS status or CSD registration; separate TCS for JV/consortia; no bids from in-service state personnel.
• Central Supplier Database (CSD) registration; include Master Supplier Number.
• BBBEE: valid BBBEE certificate or sworn affidavit; preferential points apply (80/20 system) with specific goals.
• Pricing: Pricing Schedule (SBD 3.1) or quotation on company letterhead; prices in Rand; delivery inclusive; contract ceiling price specified.
• Compliance with GCC/SCC and related procurement rules; declarations on conflict of interest and non-collusion.
• Documentation for specifications compliance and delivery capability; evidence of ability to meet scope of work.
