Simmerpan Complex: Security upgrade for perimeter, access control and camerasClosed

Overview

This tender seeks to procure the Simmerpan Complex security upgrade: perimeter fencing, access control and CCTV systems, under an NEC3 ECC3 framework with a 24-month construction phase and a 60-month maintenance phase. Bidders should be security-systems integrators with construction capability, CIDB registration, and demonstrated compliance with Eskom’s OHS, environmental and PPPFA/local-content requirements.

Requirements

• Compliance with Eskom OHS requirements (Annexure B and OHS Incident Management Procedure 32-95) including induction, contractor management, and penalties for non-conformance.
• Environmental compliance per Eskom Environmental Requirements for Contractors and/or Suppliers (240-180100134), including EMS planning, site access, monitoring and post-contract review.
• Local-content and PPPFA obligations: SBD forms, Local Content declarations, and BBBEE where applicable.
• Technical and contractual scope: Security upgrade works for perimeter, access control and CCTV under ECC3 with 24 months construction and 60 months maintenance (Contract Data Part C1/C1.2A).
• Pre-qualifications: CIDB registration appropriate for works, Tax Clearance, CSD/SARS PIN verification, and required returnables (as listed in the ITT) prior to/at tender close.
• Environmental and safety governance to be maintained throughout design, tender, site mobilisation, and execution.
